Colorful, Hardy Roses Without the Hassle

Why Rainbow Knock Out® Rose Trees?
The Rainbow Knock Out® Rose Tree is the same classic Knock Out® you love…but now with deep coral blossoms and yellow pops of color for a unique twist. Even better is the fact that these eye-catching blooms emerge continuously and voluminously, without hassle.

And since it’s a member of the Knock Out® family, you get the best benefits. You’ll get showy, vibrant florals effortlessly since this flowering tree features amazing resistance to common rust, mildew and black spot. So, no harsh chemicals or sprays are necessary to help it thrive. Plus, it’s versatile since it can be planted as a tree or a low hedge and is more compact than its fellow family varieties.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Start by selecting a location with well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade (an area that receives 4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day). Areas with good air circulation also promote vigorous, healthy growth. After you’ve selected your location, dig a hole that’s at least two or three times wider than your tree’s root ball. Once you’ve placed it, back fill the soil, tamp down to avoid air pockets and lastly, water to help establish its roots.

2. Watering: Summer mulching helps to retain moisture and keep roots cool, but an adequate watering schedule is important. Water approximately once weekly until the plant is more established – once it’s established, you may taper off watering. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 to 3 inches down – if the soil is dry, it’s time to water.

3. Pruning: Prune as needed for shaping during the late winter or early spring, and remove dead leaves as needed. Deadheading is unnecessary since the plants drop their spent blooms (self-cleaning).
