Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your Nandina in an area that receives full to partial sunlight (a minimum of 4 hours of sunlight daily) and well-drained soil. Once you ve selected your location, dig a hole that s large enough to accommodate your shrub s root ball, place your shrub, and water the surrounding soil.

2. Watering: Let your soil dry to the touch down to about 2 inches in between waterings. Once your soil is dry, give your Nandina a deep watering at the base.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your Nandina at the beginning of every spring and in the middle of summer with an acidic fertilizer.
